Crop-a-thon talk
So how are you doing with the crop activities? Use this forum to discuss with other crafters, moan about how difficult they are, or brag about how well you are doing!!!

Re: Crop-a-thon talk
Well I hope you and the baby get better soon! I have 3 children and I know how hard it is to take care of them while you too are sick. So take good care so you can get back to the hobby you love.
Re: Crop-a-thon talk
Thanks, Toccara! Both baby and I feel better now - but yesterday my 7-year old was home sick............ I have 4 children, so yes, neverending!!!!

neverending is the word...even when you are sleeping it seems to go on because they wake you up! my 2 year old calls me from her room...MAAAAAAAA! lol is so funny how she does that. I am going to scrap a page about that once I get a good picture of that senario!lol

Re: Crop-a-thon talk
HOw about a picture of you looking VERY tired?! LOL!
I have two little ones, and the oldest who is four has just started sleepwalking Just as I drift off she will wander into another room, then not know how she got there. Not only do i have to get her safely back into bed, but she seems to wake my 1yr old at the same time. He is not so easy to get back to sleep! Ingrid, I hope your older little one gets better soon!

Re: Crop-a-thon talk
I was a sleep walker and talker in my sleep! I would have full conversations out loud and they would ask me in the morning who was i talking to! I got my youngest daughter to sleep through the night by not giving her a nap or letting her naps be very short and when it's time for bed she will sleep. It's hard b/c when they take a nap that is your quiet time to relax and actually get to hear yourself think but it works if you need to just get that one night of sleep. Good luck!
PS. I just noticed we are in the crop a thon talk forum and we are talking about our children!

We weren't sick, but I know how you felt. I kept up with the forum to see what others were doing, but I never got beyond that no matter how much I wanted to scrap. I loved the challenges. I do have some great ideas now that I am sure will show up in my layouts. Thanks for the inspiration!

Re: Crop-a-thon talk
sometimes that happens you want to participate but life sometimes don't give you the enery to keep up. While this challenge was going on I was up really late to make sure I did not get behind. between kids, hubby, cooking, cleaning etc... I had to stay up late so I could have the best chance at winning...It paid off for me I printed out my list and I made sure I stayed on schedule...So it took a lot of time of of my normal routine. I loved every minute of it!
Re: Crop-a-thon talk
That's dedication! Glad it paid off for you.
