A little here...a little there...

I have posted my LO for this challenge in the correct gallery. I had a great time doing this. I scraplifted a little from taj layout.

Love this take on Taj's LO...it was a hard act to follow in the first place! Hope I get time to try this one! X

Do you ever come across a layout and you think "I should have thought of that!" Well why not just "scrap lift" the layout...don't ya just love scrapbook lingo? Well that is today's challenge...Scrap lift a Design Team Member! I am going to start it off. When we debuted Challenge #6 I just knew that I loved Taj's take on it. So I scrap lifted it. Take a look.

Taj's layout...


...And here is my take on her layout.


There were certain elements in her layout that I just knew I had to have. The strips of paper behind the photo, the large embellishment in the top left hand corner, and the strip of paper under the photo...I just loved those. You must also notice that I changed a good bit of it also to make it look like ME. I used less strips, changed the circle to a star to match the scheme of the paper, moved the title, and added journaling and a date.

Now, let me see what ya got! Our Crop-a-thon is coming to an end...so get busy! There are fabulous prizes at stake!
